Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 50730 Dishwasher up and running in no time.

1. Adjust the Water Softener

To prevent the build-up of limescale on dishes and in the dishwasher, the water softener must be adjusted to the water hardness setting for your area. This can be done manually using the water hardness switch or electronically using the buttons on the control panel.

2. Fill with Salt for the Water Softener

Use only special dishwasher salt. Fill the salt container prior to using the dishwasher for the first time, and whenever the SALT indicator on the control panel is illuminated.

3. Fill with Rinse Aid

If using detergent and rinse aid separately, fill the rinse aid container prior to first use and when the indicator on the control panel lights up.

4. Connect the Water Inlet Hose

Ensure the water pressure is within permitted levels, and connect the inlet hose to a cold water supply.

5. Water Drain

Ensure the drain hose is correctly connected and free from kinks or blockages to allow for proper drainage.

6. Electrical Connection

Ensure the dishwasher is connected to the electrical supply in accordance with applicable regulations. Adaptors, connectors, and extension cables must not be used.

7. Install the Dishwasher

For built-under installations, adjust the feet to match the height of surrounding units. If next to a cooker, install a heat-insulating, non-flammable plate between the dishwasher and the cooker.

8. Load the Dishwasher

Remove transport clips from baskets, load cutlery and dishes ensuring spray arms can rotate freely, and fill with dishwasher detergent before selecting a wash program.
